The Coach Behind the Results
Coach Dale Hansford is a strength & conditioning coach and manual therapist with 15+ years of applied experience. He holds an Exercise Science degree (University of Ballarat), plus extensive postgraduate education across performance, rehab, and recovery.
Dale is one of the few practitioners in Australia with Full-Body Active Release Techniques certification and is also certified in Frequency Specific Microcurrent — so training and treatment sit under one system instead of two separate worlds.
He has coached athletes across powerlifting, field sports, endurance, physique sports, and track & field — supporting Australian records and working with World Champions at the highest level.

The Journey
From graduating Exercise Science in 2013 to building facilities, coaching national record holders, treating world champions, and mentoring coaches internationally — the through-line has been the same: an obsessive focus on program design.
After co-founding Maine Fitness with colleague Edward Coulthard, Dale went on to establish high-performance training and injury treatment clinics. Between 2013–2019 he averaged 18+ full days of continuing education per year — because staying sharp is non-negotiable.
Today, coaches and athletes work with Dale for one reason: they want a system that holds up under pressure — assessment, planning, execution, review — and the ability to adapt it when real life hits.
